Firmly Planted Stories: A New Path — Kristy Morgan

My husband and I had always planned on sending our children to public school– homeschool was never part of our plan. But in 2020, when what was happening behind the curtain was revealed, we knew that plan was out the window. There was no way we would send our precious girls to public school.

The joy, hope, and faith which permeates the Firmly Planted Family facility is stunning and vibrant! When we found FPF three years ago, we knew we’d found our path. Instead of sending our daughters to public schools filled with darkness, fear, and lies, we have the opportunity to raise them up under the covering of Firmly Planted, where all things point toward truth and Jesus!

I was especially grateful for our Firmly Planted Family when it was recently announced here in Washington State, that Governor Inslee signed a bill requiring schools to teach LGBT “History” starting in 2025. I am so thankful my girls will not be subject to these government requirements!

Even though our 4 and 7 year olds will never remember life before Covid, we’ve been able to provide them a normal childhood during some of their most impressionable years thanks to Firmly Planted. Over the last 3 years, we’ve found classes in which our children thrive, and my husband and I have opportunities to be a part of it by helping families in ways we didn’t have before. We’re so thankful to live in an area with such a thriving homeschool community. God has blessed us richly, and His hand is evident at Firmly Planted Family!
