A Message from Jay St. John, Executive Director of FPHRC

Waiting.

We all struggle with waiting. So often the anticipation of what may —or may not— be coming fills us with worry and anxiety. In Paul’s letter to the church in Galatia, he references patience (or forbearance) as part of the fruit of the Spirit. In all things, God wants us to be patient and wait for His timing and plan.

Here at Firmly Planted Family, we are very familiar with waiting. As we build and grow, we are constantly waiting for finances, permits, people, and resources. We pray daily that God would provide for the things He has called us to do. Sometimes the waiting can be excruciating. But through waiting, we have the opportunity to practice patience, trust God, and allow Him to increase our faith.
